Into the Archive

Into the Archive is an open access online course I developed to introduce students to archival research. By exploring both paper and digital archives with historians, librarians, and digital scholars, students gain familiarity with different approaches to archival research and learn how to plan their own research projects.

This self-paced course breaks down research processes that most often take place behind the scenes, including primary source analysis, research practices within the archive, and the interpretation of archival data using digital methods.

The course was developed in collaboration with Princeton Online and the McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning. It is hosted on the edX edge learning platform. To explore this free course and enroll, create an account on edX edge.
